We want to thank retiring board members, Arlen Books, Jeanne Logelin, and Jon Logelin for their service to the Golden K Kiwanis over the past 2 years. Welcome to new board members, Lois Brooks, Jerry Stoflet, and Paul Vermeersch. I know the continuing board members will continue to do the awesome job they have done in the past. I must especially thank Rita McCoy for covering for me during my leave of absence.
Every member is important to the Golden K and I appreciate all of you! Thanks again for a very good year!

Peanut Days
Our major fund raiser for the year was a huge success again this year. Members staffed three HyVee stores on Friday and Saturday, giving away peanuts and collecting donations.
Gross receipts for the two days were $5338.77. After paying expenses (primarily cost of peanuts) we netted $4737.11.
Winning the traveling trophy for most money collected was the team of Arlen Books and Jim Ertelt. Congratulations, and a big thank you to all our members for their help in this important source of funds to our club.
