Board Meeting was held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025
Reading Program is a go and will be at Bamber Valley School. School participants will be kindergarten level students. Reading times are any school day 9am to 10:30am. Report to the school office to start. Rochester Public Schools background checks are required and can be initiated at: rochesterschools.org/page/vie.
Pen Pal program with St Pius School has started, see Jane Douglas for more info.
The Kiwanis Golden K Christmas Party is December 10th, Social hour is 5:00 and Dinner at 6:00 PM. Invitations have been sent out to members with menu and other information. Please RSVP by November 19th. Meal cost will be $25.00 per person and entertainment by “Booker and Friend”. Thanks to Arlen Books for volunteering to buy the cake.
The date for the Food for Kidz event in Stewartville is April 11, 2026. Reserve the date on your calendars.
Kiwanis Golden K ‘by laws’ updates were passed at the November 19th meeting.
Christmas Anonymous signup sheets are out. Projects start Nov 29th thru Dec 6th . Store Day will be Saturday Dec 13th at CUMC this year.
Jerry Stoflet is stepping down as Board Member and Nancy Johnsrud will be replacement for his term.
A $100 donation has been received from an honorary member with the indication to use it to the best advantage of the club.
